SAFETY PROCEDURES

1.    Goggles and Aprons must Be Worn Properly with this Lab

2.    Long Hair must Be Tied Back

3.    Long Sleeves must Be Rolled up

4.    Review Where the Safety Equipment Is Located

5.    Sterilize the Inoculating Loop by Flame Before Applying Your Bacteria to Your Slide.

6.    Sterilize the Inoculating Loop by Flame again AFTER Applying Your Bacteria to Your Slide.

7.    Wash and Dry Your Hands and Lab Tables after the Lab

LAB CLEAN UP PROCEDURES

1.    Return the Micro Burners and Lab Supply Boxes

2.    Return the Stains

3.    Wash and Dry Your Slides and Cover Slips

4.    Wash Your Staining Tray

5.    Wrap the Cord on Your Microscope

6.    Leave the Microscope on Low Power and Cover with the Dust-cover

7.    Stow Away the Microscope in the Cabinet

8.    And very importantly - clean and sanitize your tables and wash your hands thoroughly.
